Philip began his career as a draughtsman with Atcost (Southern) Ltd in 1977 and then worked as an architectural assistant with D. G. Joyce and Partners in Tunbridge Wells from 1978 to 1981.
Philip then gained experience of a wide variety of leisure, commercial, retail and domestic projects whilst working with Holiday Inns Limited in Johannesburg and architectural practices in South Africa and Sydney, Australia.
In 1986 Philip returned to the UK and joined Burns Guthrie and Partners. He ha acquired extensive experience of school and healthcare projects besides working with domestic clients. Being a keen cricket and golf fan, he particularly enjoyed working on the Bluemantle spectator stand at the Nevill Cricket Ground, Tunbridge Wells and on alterations to Tunbridge Wells Golf Club facilities. |
