Louise Potter

With a degree in visual arts, Louise's path to becoming an interior designer was via several prestigious architectural practices. She worked as an administrator and secretary to Terry Farrell (Terry Farrell and Co.) 1987-90 and accounts administrator for Edward Cullinan Architects 1990-95. With much encouragement she then decided to move to the design side.

Having been awarded a distinction from the Chelsea College of Art and Design, she returned to Terry Farrell and Co. as interior designer and worked on Terry Farrell's own house and offices in London, Dean Gallery in Edinburgh and the Genetics building in Newcastle. She moved to Sheppard Robson in 1998 where projects included Centre Point and the Bank of England offices in London and Pfizer headquarters in Surrey..

In 2001 Louise set up her own practice in Tunbridge Wells whilst also undertaking architectural commissions from Knox Bhaven Architects. Since June 2003 she has worked on a freelance basis for Burns Guthrie and Partners, specialising ininterior design projects.
