Reorganisation of Catholic Secondary Education for the Archdiocese of Southwark in the London Borough of Bexley

Between 2003 - 2005 we were the appointed architects for the reorganisation of Catholic Sixth Form education in the London Borough of Bexley for the Archdiocese of Southwark.

This involved the closure of small, inefficient sixth forms in three secondary schools. One of the secondary schools was extended and altered to form a sixth form college including
a striking entrance and refectory to front what was otherwise a standard school building.

At the two other secondary schools, new classroom blocks and sports halls were constructed to accommodate the resulting extra pupils. The projects were all delivered on time and within budget. The works to the sixth form college and one of the secondary schools entailed the provision of a significant amount of mobile accommodation which was installed and removed as part of the main contract works.
